Job Summary:
Position: Catalog Quality Check Executive (E-commerce | Shopify)
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Check Executive to manage end-to-end quality audits of our e-commerce website built on the Shopify platform. The role focuses on ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance of the online product catalog, particularly for watches, by validating data, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating with internal teams for timely resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end quality checks of the Shopify-based e-commerce website to ensure error-free customer experience.
- Validate product catalog data including product titles, descriptions, pricing, SKUs, variants, attributes, images, collections, tags, and inventory.
- Ensure all product information adheres to brand guidelines, business rules, and compliance standards.
- Conduct regular audits of large catalog datasets to identify inconsistencies, missing data, and incorrect mappings.
- Review and validate watch-specific attributes such as dial color, case size, movement, strap material, warranty, and water resistance.
- Check accuracy of pricing, offers, discounts, and inventory synchronization across the platform.
- Maintain detailed QA checklists, audit trackers, and documentation for identified issues and fixes.
- Coordinate closely with catalog, content, merchandising, and technology teams to resolve errors within defined SLAs.
- Support catalog creation and updates by performing pre- and post-live quality validations.
- Ensure SEO readiness of product listings by validating titles, descriptions, metadata, tagging, and categorization.
- Track and report catalog quality metrics such as error rate, listing completeness, and turnaround time.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality audit reports using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance catalog quality and efficiency.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Hands-on experience with Shopify product and inventory management
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Validation, Conditional Formatting)
- Experience handling large datasets and performing data audits
- Understanding of e-commerce catalog structures and workflows
- Basic knowledge of SEO for product listings
- Ability to identify root causes and document corrective actions
- Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, IT, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Catalog Operations, or E-commerce Data Management.
- Prior experience in retail, fashion, or watch e-commerce is an added advantage.
