Job Description

Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director for Library Services, the Cataloging and Collection Development Librarian is responsible for the daily operation of cataloging, acquisitions and collection development. Adhere to the University Library goals and objectives to support the teaching, learning, and research needs of students and faculty in all academic disciplines. Cataloging and Collection management includes but is not limited to original and copy cataloging (multiple formats), preservation (binding) and weeding/deselecting library materials. In addition, this position coordinates the ordering of print monographs, ebooks, and electronic media, and tracks departmental spending. Supervises three full time staff in the Cataloging and Acquisitions Unit of Technical Services.

Hours: Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Lunch 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.; Saturday as scheduled and Extended Hours During Exams.
