  • Develop and implement category strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Analyse market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities for category growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to optimise product offerings and pricing.
  • Monitor category performance and provide actionable insights to improve sales and profitability.
  • Manage product life cycle, including introductions, promotions, and discontinuations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all category management activities.
  • Lead and mentor a team to drive innovation and excellence in category management.
  • The Successful Applicant

    A successful Category Head should have:

  • MBA from top tier universities, MBB experience preferred.
  • Proven expertise in the strategy & growth roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities to work effectively with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Leadership experience to manage and inspire a team towards achieving goals.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a focus on growth and profitability.
  • Knowledge of market trends and consumer behaviour in the consumer tech industry.
