Category Lead - Electronics & Electricals

Spencer’s Retail, part of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka (RPSG) Group, is a multi-format Indian retailer across fashion, home, electronics, and groceries. We are actively looking for an individual who can own end-to-end merchandising and category operations — spanning buying, vendor management, inventory planning, and P&L ownership — in a fast-paced, high-volume, omni-channel retail environment, ensuring strong availability, effective assortment, and profitable growth aligned with the Annual Business Plan.

As a Category Manager (Electronics & Electricals), you will own end-to-end category operations, driving buying, merchandising, inventory planning, and vendor partnerships to deliver availability, profitability, and strong customer outcomes across online and offline retail channels.

● Lead end-to-end buying and merchandising for assigned categories, from vendor evaluation to PO finalization

● Manage vendor relationships, negotiations, and commercial terms to improve margins and supply reliability

● Plan and control inventory, assortment, and ROL, ensuring optimal stock flow and minimal ageing

● Own category P&L, collaborating with Finance, Marketing, and Operations to deliver ABP-aligned growth

● Translate sales forecasts into procurement and replenishment plans across warehouse and store deliveries

● Execute effective store-level merchandising and assortment strategies to maximize visibility and sell-through

● Build and maintain MIS, dashboards, and performance trackers using Excel and Google Sheets

● Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, retail operations, accounts, and sales teams for seamless execution

● Incorporate store and sales feedback into buying decisions and assortment optimization

● Support and execute promotional schemes, offers, and incentives to drive category sales performance
