About the Role
Dentalkart is looking for an experienced Category Manager with strong dental domain expertise and a commercial mindset to lead and scale assigned dental categories. This is an onsite role based out of the Chhatarpur, New Delhi office, requiring hands-on ownership of category performance, vendor partnerships, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and manage assigned dental product categories end-to-end
• Drive category growth through assortment planning, pricing strategies, and promotions
• Work closely with vendors, brands, and manufacturers to ensure availability and competitiveness • Analyse category performance, sales trends, margins, and inventory health
• Identify new product opportunities and onboard relevant brands/products
• Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and operations teams for smooth execution
• Develop and execute category-level business plans aligned with company objectives
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Education: BDS + MBA (Mandatory)
• Experience: 4–8 years in category management, product management, or commercial roles
• Strong understanding of dental products, instruments, and consumables
• Proven experience in pricing strategy, margin optimization, and P&L ownership
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, onsite environment
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
