Sephora has been active in Turkey since 2007, with 43 stores and online in 10 different cities. As Sephora Turkey, we are looking for a Category Manager

Lead with a curated, customer-centric assortment that inspires and delivers value, while driving sustainable and strategic growth. Champion innovation and operational excellence to strengthen our position as the leading omni-retailer, creating seamless experiences across all channels and fostering long-term brand and business leadership.

You will be responsible for:

Strategic Leadership

  • Own the categorys performance across Sales, Margin, Stock, Market Share, and Growth, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives.
  • Develop and implement purpose-driven strategies that balance profitability, customer satisfaction, and brand equity within global guidelines.
  • Growth & Market Insight

  • Identify and unlock growth opportunities through deep analysis of market trends, competitive dynamics, and evolving customer behaviors.
  • Translate insights into actionable plans that strengthen category positioning and relevance.
  • Brand & Assortment Excellence

  • Partner with global category and RGM teams to bring global brand strategies to life locally, ensuring consistency and impact.
  • Define the optimal assortment mix based on productivity, customer needs, and innovation trends.
  • Guarantee that the portfolio reflects customer-centricity, offering novelty and inspiration across all touchpoints.
  • Customer Experience & Merchandising

  • Lead the planning and execution of merchandising updates and store layouts, creating engaging and seamless shopping experiences.
  • Collaborate with CRM teams to enhance customer recruitment and loyalty, delivering personalized offers aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Pricing & Promotions

  • Establish clear price positioning in partnership with RGM, ensuring competitiveness and value perception.
  • Design and monitor annual and seasonal promotion plans to maximize ROI and strengthen category performance.
  • Marketing & Supplier Partnerships

  • Define and coordinate 360° marketing plans for key launches, ensuring integrated execution across channels.
  • Build strong partnerships with suppliers, aligning on strategies, investments, and joint business plans to drive mutual growth.
  • Operational Excellence

  • Conduct regular business reviews to track performance, identify growth drivers, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to ensure forecast accuracy, supply continuity, and minimize out-of-stock or overstock risks.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Leverage shopper insights, market research, and performance analytics to inform strategy and optimize execution.
  • Stay ahead of emerging consumer trends, integrating them into category plans for future readiness.
  • Omnichannel Integration

  • Work closely with digital sales teams to build an omni-channel brand strategy, ensuring consistency and synergy across physical and digital platforms.
  • Deliver best-in-class omni-cooperation with suppliers to enhance customer experience and commercial impact.

  • Lead global initiatives on productivity, assortment optimization, and merchandising excellence.
  • Maintain strong field presence through regular visits and bi-weekly performance reviews with Area Managers.
