Role Summary
Oswaal Books is hiring a Category Manager – Early Learning to support and scale Lil
Legends across D2C, marketplaces, offline sales, and influencer marketing.
This role is execution-heavy and growth-oriented, ideal for someone who understands digital
commerce, publishing, and category growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. D2C & Marketplace Execution
● Execute growth plans for:
○ Shopify (D2C)
○ Amazon & other marketplaces
● Monitor:
○ Daily sales
○ ROAS / ACOS
○ Conversion metrics
● Coordinate with agencies and internal teams for:
○ Ads
○ Listings
○ Creative updates
2. Performance & Influencer Marketing Support
● Execute influencer campaigns:
○ Creator outreach
○ Briefing
○ Tracking deliverables
● Assist in:
○ Performance marketing experiments
○ Creative testing
● Track campaign performance and share insights
3. Product & Listing Management
● Manage:
○ Product listings
○ A+ content
○ Product videos
● Coordinate with editorial and design teams for:
○ New launches
○ Updates
● Ensure listings meet platform standards and are conversion-friendly
4. Offline & Event Support
● Support offline sales initiatives:
○ Exhibitions
○ Distributor requirements
○ Sales collaterals
● Coordinate pricing, schemes, and stock availability
5. Data, Reporting & Coordination
● Track:
○ Sales performance
○ Inventory health
○ Campaign metrics
● Prepare weekly and monthly reports
● Act as a bridge between:
○ Marketing
○ Editorial
○ Sales
○ Ops
Candidate Profile
● 4–6 years of experience in:
○ D2C
○ Marketplaces
○ Publishing or consumer brands
● Hands-on experience with:
○ Amazon Seller Central
○ Shopify or D2C platforms
● Strong execution skills
● Comfortable with numbers, dashboards, and coordination
● Willing to grow into a larger business role
