Amazons Global Procurement Organization tackles business challenges that help internal customers with innovative procurement strategies. We create value in the supply chain strive for optimization and act with one global voice and vision. The Category team owns the strategic relationships with suppliers & internal stakeholders. The team identifies & leads strategic sourcing activities to lower overall total cost of ownership for Amazon operations ensuring equipment & service availability meet business owner requirements. The team develops & negotiates framework agreements to reduce risk & support local teams in project specific needs relevant to category.

This role in the packaging team will have broad responsibility to define the procurement strategy for key items in the packaging category sourcing vendors and innovative tools and processes to support a large network of Amazon stakeholders across multiple business lines.
