Job Purpose:
To drive business growth through category-focused trade marketing strategies by planning and executing initiatives that enhance brand visibility, influence channel partner engagement, and support sales achievement.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Category Trade Strategy & Planning for all Channels(GT, Rural, MT, Ecomm etc)
Develop and execute trade marketing plans aligned with overall brand and category strategies. Identify channel-specific opportunities and design category-led interventions to drive sell-out. Align trade marketing initiatives with seasonal trends, new product launches, and market dynamics. 2. Scheme Design, Analysis & Insights:
Design trade schemes and promotional offers tailored to different channels and customer segments. Monitor scheme effectiveness, analyse performance data, and generate insights for continuous improvement. Collaborate with Sales, PL’s and Finance to optimize scheme structure and ROI. 3. Market & Competitor Insights:
Conduct regular market visits to gather feedback, monitor execution, and identify improvement areas. Analyze trade data, competitor activities, and retail trends to derive actionable insights. Track ROI of trade initiatives and create performance dashboards for leadership review. 4. Cross-functional Collaboration:
Partner with Sales, Product, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure alignment of trade marketing programs. Support new product launches with go-to-market (GTM) readiness, sales collaterals, and retailer communication. Budgeting & ROI Planning
