Responsibilities of a Catering Assistant

  • Cleaning and maintaining kitchen and food service equipment

  • Upholding high hygiene and safety standards

  • Assisting with basic food preparation when required

  • Keeping food counters clean and fully stocked

  • Serving food to customers in a professional manner

    • Requirements of a Catering Assistant


  • Manual Handling qualification (training available)

  • HACCP or Food Safety certification (training can be arranged)

  • Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not required

  • A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
