Excel Recruitment are searching for a Catering Manager for a nursing home facility in south Dublin.

We are looking to speak with with a background in hospital, nursing home or other healthcare facility. This role is ideally suited to a Chef/Manager with healthcare experience seeking to move into a Catering Management role.

This role is for an initial 2 year contract and will include several change management projects throughout the time.

Requirements of Healthcare Catering Manager:

  • Previous experience managing a busy hospital or nursing home kitchen, specifically with preparation of IDDSI diets

  • Knowledge of HIQA requirements in a nursing home kitchen setting

  • Strong people management skills with an emphasis on training and coaching a team

  • Working knowledge of Food Safety Systems and Health & Safety regulations

  • Flexibility to work weekends when required
