Job Description Job Description Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1 year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A specialized imaging professional is needed to support an advanced interventional radiology and cardiology unit located in Mooresville, NC. This contract opportunity offers a unique setting combining IR, cath lab, vascular, and electrophysiology procedures, with approximately 80% of cases focusing on interventional radiology. Candidates should be prepared to work primarily day shifts with occasional call and weekend responsibilities. Key Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably with IR exposure (minimum 90% IR cases required) Proficient in scrubbing, circulating, and telemetry within a cath lab or IR environment Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, ARRT or RCISP mandatory; ARRT Advanced, RCES, or RCIS with cardiac experience are highly desirable Ability to perform EKG lead placement beneficial Experience assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures involving devices such as PPMs and ICDs Work Details and Responsibilities: 40-hour schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Call obligations: twice weekly weekday calls from 4:00 PM to 7:30 AM and one weekend call every three weekends, with no call following weekend shifts Prompt response times required for STEMI and IR emergencies Support providers by scrubbing and circulating during complex IR and cardiology procedures; medication administration is RN-only Use of advanced equipment including GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Angio Jet, EKOS, and others Float not required; weekend work is rotated equitably Scrubs provided on-site About Mooresville, NC:Mooresville is a thriving community known for its friendly atmosphere and strong healthcare presence.
