Exciting opportunity for a skilled Cath Lab Technician to contribute to a high-acuity, multi-specialty cardiac service line in Mooresville, NC. This contract position offers a chance to work in a state-of-the-art teaching hospital recognized for trauma care, chest pain, stroke, and bariatric excellence. The role blends Cath Lab, Vascular Lab, and EP Lab functions in a dynamic and supportive environment. Location Overview: Mooresville, NC, is a thriving community known for its scenic lake views and family-friendly atmosphere. The hospital is a Level III Trauma center with 457 licensed beds and cutting-edge cardiovascular services. Schedule & Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM 40 hours per week, working 10-hour day shifts Key Responsibilities: Independently function in blended lab cases, including complex PCI, right and left heart catheterizations, EP studies, and vascular interventions Circulate and monitor patients with strong IV skills, sterile technique, and medication titration including pressors Utilize expertise in cardiac rhythm interpretation and respond effectively to code situations Collaborate with Cath Lab leadership and multidisciplinary team members to provide exceptional patient care Document and manage patient data using EPIC EMR system Participate in designated on-call rotations and perform duties during holidays as needed Qualifications & Experience: At least 1 year of Cath Lab experience required; first-time travelers considered Registered Nurse (RN) licensed with current BLS and ACLS certification Experience in a blended Cath/EP/Vascular lab setting preferred Proficiency with sterile techniques, medication titration, and cardiac rhythm monitoring essential Familiarity with EPIC, Philips monitors, Alaris IV pumps, and Omnicell medication systems is highly desirable Additional Details: Orientation includes 2 days of departmental training plus 1 day unit training Free parking available onsite Scrub colors provided Culture is friendly, adaptive, and welcoming This contract role is an excellent opportunity for experienced Cath Lab RNs ready to leverage advanced skills in a rewarding clinical setting.
