Job Description Job Description Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1 year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity offers the chance to work as a skilled imaging professional specializing in interventional radiology and cardiology procedures within a busy Cath Lab setting. The position is based in Salisbury, NC, with a contract term of 13-20 weeks. It involves working primarily in a combined IR/Cardiology/Vascular/EP lab, with 80% of procedures focused on interventional radiology and 10% on other cardiology-related interventions. Key responsibilities include assisting providers during diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures by scrubbing and circulating in the lab. The role requires close collaboration within a multidisciplinary call team that includes an RN. Medication administration is not part of this position as it is performed by nursing staff. Schedule and Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday Day shift: 07:30 AM to 4:00 PM On-call weekday evenings twice per month (4:00 PM to 7:30 AM) One weekend call per month, from Friday evening to Monday morning, with no call the following week Weekend coverage every third weekend No float requirements Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology (IR) tech experience, with at least 90% focus on IR procedures Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS, and ARRT or RCISP Skills: Proficient in scrubbing, circulating, and telemetry monitoring; EKG lead placement preferred Preferred certifications: ARRT Advanced Cert, RCES, RCIS with relevant medical experience Traveler experience not required; local candidates welcomed IR experience is mandatory for this role Location Overview: Salisbury, NC is a charming city rich with history and southern hospitality.
