Job Description: PRIMARY FUNCTION Join our dynamic team as a CDL A Warehouse Backup Driver, where you will play a crucial role in our operations by working in the warehouse to receive, pick, pack orders, load trucks, and manage our inventory. Collaborate closely with management and the lead warehouse personnel while stepping in as a truck driver when necessary. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Efficiently fulfill orders by pulling them for delivery. Load trucks, ensuring all deliveries are prepared for timely transportation. Handle customer pick-ups with a focus on exceptional service. Drive the company’s CDL truck for customer deliveries as directed by management. Unload incoming product materials, monitor for damages/shortages/overages, and complete necessary paperwork accurately and promptly. Receive shipments and ensure proper placement of materials. Assist with inventory management and cycle counts. Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse and adhere to good housekeeping practices at all times. Operate forklifts and powered equipment for timely loading and unloading of materials. Collaborate with the lead warehouse person and traffic team to efficiently route and load trucks. Perform all other tasks as assigned by management. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: High school diploma or GED. Valid Class A CDL license and compliance with all DOT driver regulations. Strong customer service skills. Experience operating forklifts. Warehouse work experience is preferred. Familiarity with RF guns and barcode scanning. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Proficiency in English comprehension. Requirements: Class A CDL License Minimum of 1 year driving experience with Class A license. A customer service attitude that thrives on interaction with customers. Must possess an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report, PSP Report, and demonstrate safe driving practices. Capability to push, pull, and lift up to 80 lbs using available tools.
