|Yard Jockey Location: Salina, KS Job Description: The Yard Jockey position involves assisting in moving and spotting equipment to facilitate the needs of the warehouse in organising and processing products for shipping and/or storage.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Trailer preparedness Conducting daily equipment inspections Daily yard/facility inspections Moving trailers in and out of dock doors for loading and unloading Staging equipment for easy access and accountability Schedule: Monday to Friday: 5:30 AM start, typically done around 4 PM Weekend work available on occasion, covered by other drivers if needed Home Time: Home on Saturdays and Sundays Equipment Type: 2018 Ottawa – Automatic Freight Type: No touch Truck Speed: 65 mph Compensation and Bonuses: Hourly Pay: $26.00/hour Overtime Pay: $39.00/hour for overtime after 40 hours (overtime is almost every week) New Hire Transition Bonus: $500, paid in full on second paycheck Referral Bonus: $3,000, paid out as follows: $1,000 on second paycheck $1,000 at 60 days $1,000 at 120 days Parking: On-site at customer location Requirements: 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience Hazmat endorsement If you meet the requirements and are interested in a steady, reliable position with good pay and bonuses, apply today!  Powered by JazzHR
