Job Description
We are looking for an experienced CDP / Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations, especially focusing on Chinese and multi-cuisine offerings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, staff management, and ensuring high-quality culinary standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the kitchen team and supervise all cooking activities.
- Plan, design, and develop menus with a focus on Chinese and multi-cuisine dishes.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
- Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and helpers.
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
- Monitor inventory, procure ingredients, and manage kitchen costs efficiently.
- Innovate and introduce new recipes or seasonal specials to enhance customer experience.
- Collaborate with management to optimize kitchen operations and food delivery standards.
Required Skills & Qualities:
- Proven experience as a CDP / Head Chef in reputed hotels or restaurants.
- Expertise in Chinese cuisine, with knowledge of other cuisines being a plus.
- Strong leadership, team management, and training skills.
- Excellent understanding of kitchen operations, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Creative, innovative, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards
