Job Description
Primary Role Centre Lathe Turner
We are seeking an experienced Centre Lathe Turner to manufacture carbon and stainless-steel flanges using conventional lathes (not CNC).
Key Responsibilities
Face, edge, and bore profiled carbon steel blanks
Set and operate lathes independently, including setting feeds and speeds
Work to tolerances of up to 1mm (no single-point thread cutting required)
Ensure quality and efficiency with minimal supervision
Secondary Role Radial Drill Operator
The successful candidate will also:
Set and operate a range of radial drills (3 to 10 capacity)
Accurately set Pitch Circle Diameters (PCD) for flange drilling using a rotary table
Work independently, setting feeds and speeds for each operation
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience on conventional lathes and radial drills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
