Certified Dental Assistant

Luminous Dental is a well-established, family-owned dental practice that has proudly served our community for over 40 years. As a non-corporate clinic, we value long-term relationships with both our patients and our team. Following a recent rebrand, we are expanding our hours and growing our team to continue providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

We are currently seeking an experienced Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our busy and supportive practice on a full-time basis (35–40 hours per week).

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is a motivated, reliable CDA with at least two years of experience in a fast-paced dental clinic. You are organized, team-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent patient care. Experience with Tracker is required.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, with one Saturday per month
• A weekday off will be provided when a Saturday is worked
• No Saturday shifts during the summer

Key Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting during a variety of dental procedures, including child recalls
• Taking dental radiographs
• Instrument processing and sterilization
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic patient records
• Verifying insurance coverage and assisting with billing and payments

Qualifications & Skills

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) designation
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a busy dental practice
• Proficiency with electronic dental records and Tracker software
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and clinical procedures
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment
