CFO

Our Client, a B2C Internet Start-up, is looking for a Chief Finance Officer based in Madrid. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR? We are seeking a candidate with at least 10 years of professional experience, including proven management of a finance team as CFO or in a relevant role. The ideal candidate should be fluent in English and Spanish. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage a team responsible for: Accounting and tax management Financial controlling and cost management Treasury, cash, and banks management Accounts payable and provider invoicing management B2C payments and fraud management Local risk management Financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting Financial reporting for Spanish Authorities and HQ Contractual and administrative documentation management Business cases for local business development projects Financial processes automation and digitalization Serve as a financial advisor to the General Manager, contributing to: Cost and risk management Financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting Business cases for local business development projects REQUIREMENTS: At least 10 years of professional experience with proven leadership in finance roles such as CFO At least 8 years in finance functions within startups or digital-native companies Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods Fluent in English and Spanish (mandatory) WHAT'S ON OFFER: We offer a great opportunity to work with an innovative product and exciting projects, where you can develop your career, be part of a passionate team, and join a dynamic company.
