JOB SUMMARY
The Chair - Anesthesiology provides clinical, education, research and executive management leadership in Anesthesiology. S/he is a Clinical and Managerial leader working with the Sidra executive team to develop and deliver strategy and business plans and to be accountable for resources and performance in Anesthesiology and to integrate research and education priorities into a program of excellent clinical service delivery. It is anticipated that the appointed candidate is able to continue with their personal clinical, education and research activities, albeit in a reduced and modified manner.
KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Identifies and articulates the vision, strategic direction and growth of the Department of Anesthesiology as well as its specialties and collaborates on the implementation of strategies to achieve them leading clinical service planning, service development and capacity planning for the service division.
