Job Description
Under direction, set-up and take down meeting rooms, ballrooms, exhibit halls and arena for various events .
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Participates in room set-ups and strikes, including but not limited to chairs, tables, risers/stages, stanchions, podiums and other equipment/furniture, etc.
+ Builds concert stages, installs hockey dashers, glass and related equipment
+ Install various sporting equipment as required
+ Installs ice for related events (both indoors and outdoors as needed)
+ Always perform work in a safe manner , notifying the Supervisor immediately of any accidents/incidents and any problems or damagers to facility or equipment
+ Operate walkie-talkie radio devices when required
+ Assist as needed/ required to clear snow & ice from around the facility & the outdoor skating rink if/when needed (ability to safely & effectively use snow blowers when doing these tasks)
