Job Description

  • Lead the scalability of local and cross-border logistics operations, ensuring capacity alignment with business growth.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives through vendor optimization, rate negotiations, and operational efficiencies.
  • Optimize vendor and carrier performance, ensuring compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and service quality standards.
  • Develop and launch new logistics channels and operating models to support evolving business needs.
  • Continuously improve logistics and warehouse operations, identifying inefficiencies and implementing corrective actions.
  • Execute channel development plans, including vendor sourcing, bidding processes, onboarding, and ramp-up.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, contract structuring, amendments, and SLA frameworks with logistics partners.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Legal, Tech, and Regional teams to ensure end-to-end alignment.
  • Monitor operational and financial performance using data-driven insights and reporting tools.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Languages: Advanced English (written and spoken) and Spanish.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, procurement, commercial functions, warehouse operations, or related fields.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of operational management systems (e.g., TMS, WMS, ERP) and data analysis tools.
  • Communication: Excellent English communication skills for negotiations, presentations, documentation, and reporting.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical ability to identify inefficiencies, negotiate solutions, and drive implementation.
  • Leadership: Proven experience managing vendors and external partners.
  • Operational Knowledge: Solid understanding of logistics processes, standard operating procedures, and compliance frameworks.
  • Execution & Organization: High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Proactivity: Ability to anticipate risks, detect issues early, and resolve incidents efficiently.
  • Negotiation: Strong commercial and negotiation skills with demonstrated results.
