Job Description
The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial governance, statutory compliance, taxation, audits, and financial planning for real estate projects. This role requires deep expertise in real estate accounting, taxation, RERA compliance, and project-based financial controls. The CA will work closely with senior management to support strategic decision-making and ensure strong financial discipline across projects.
Job Description
● Oversee and manage end-to-end financial accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance for real estate projects.
● Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, RERA-related accounting and reporting, ensuring timely filings and compliance.
● Review and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, trial balances, and project-wise profitability reports.
● Lead internal and external audits, statutory audits, tax audits, and ensure closure of audit observations.
● Monitor project-wise cost control, budgeting, cash flow, and fund utilization.
● Review agreements, MOUs, joint development arrangements, and financial clauses from a compliance and risk perspective.
● Coordinate with legal, sales, billing, and project teams for accurate revenue recognition, advance adjustments, and cost mapping.
● Provide financial inputs for project feasibility studies, land acquisition deals, and joint development models.
● Ensure strong internal controls, SOP implementation, and risk mitigation frameworks.
● Advise management on tax planning, structuring, and regulatory implications related to real estate transactions.
About You
● Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
● Post-Qualification Experience: 5 – 10 years
● Software Knowledge: Tally ERP, advanced MS Excel, ERP systems, MIS tools
● Key Skills: Financial governance, compliance, audit management, analytical thinking, stakeholder coordination
● Communication: Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati
