Description:
Chassis Design is seeking a motivated and collaborative engineer to work on various chassis functions for both development projects and production vehicles. Chassis design division is responsible for suspension/axle, frame, tire/wheel, shifter, steering wheel, steering system, brake system and controls. A chassis design team member typically has an opportunity to work on a variety of chassis systems over time.
We have current opportunities to work in the Body-on-Frame truck group. The position will report to the Sr Manager of the group.
 

What you’ll be doing


Develop chassis components of Truck and SUV models, focusing on the following:

  • Create and manage 3D data, technical documentation, drawings, and parts lists based on vehicle change points or external group requests

  • Perform regulation and certification confirmation activities

  • Lead communication between design, supplier, and project management teams as neede...
