We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Sofitel Brisbane Central. As an experienced member of the kitchen team, you will play a significant role in supervising operational aspects of the kitchen and ensure food hygiene and safety procedures are followed.
- Manage and coordinate activities within your assigned kitchen section
- Ensure efficient workflow and seamless coordination with other kitchen areas
- Maintain impeccable hygiene and kitchen standards in line with HACCP requirements
- Prepare and cook dishes according to our menu specifications and quality standards
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, including apprentices and commis chefs
- Assist in menu development and implementation of new food concepts
- Participate in live cooking demonstrations and interact with customers when required
