Job Description

Responsbility

  • Take full responsibility for an assigned kitchen section
  • Maintain consistent food quality and presentation
  • Minimize food wastage through proper preparation and storage
  • Check freshness, quality, and temperature of ingredients
  • Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and sanitation
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and labelling (FIFO)
  • Assist in stock ordering and inventory checks for own section
  • Ensure staff follow recipes and SOPs
  • Assist other sections when required during peak periods
  • Assist in menu testing and seasonal menu changes

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years relevant kitchen experience
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to lead and work under pressure
