Job Description
Responsbility
- Take full responsibility for an assigned kitchen section
- Maintain consistent food quality and presentation
- Minimize food wastage through proper preparation and storage
- Check freshness, quality, and temperature of ingredients
- Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and sanitation
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and labelling (FIFO)
- Assist in stock ordering and inventory checks for own section
- Ensure staff follow recipes and SOPs
- Assist other sections when required during peak periods
- Assist in menu testing and seasonal menu changes
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years relevant kitchen experience
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to lead and work under pressure
