Role: Chef
Location: HMAS Cerebus, Melbourne
Hourly Rate, Penalties apply to all Weekend and Overtime.

Are you a qualified chef looking for a new opportunity? Supporting the head chef, you will be supporting the kitchen operations and food service to deliver great customer service. Shifts can rotate between Days shifts from 7.00am-3.30pm, Evening shifts from 11.am-7.30pm and Double shifts also available from 7.00am-7.30pm.

Chef duties may include:

  • Supporting the Head Chef with daily mess operations and food service.
  • Meal and Food preparation
  • Operating large-volume cooking equipment such as Grills, Fryers and Oven
  • Managing any cleaning tasks, such as dirty dishes
  • Being flexible and helping the whole team
  • Physically active work

    • Skills and Experience:

  • Commercial Cookery Certificate III, or above (or equivalent)
  • Experience in a large commercial kitchen
