Our industry partner, HVOTS PTY LTD, operates a modern Middle Eastern restaurant located in the Gold Coast, Queensland. The venue blends authentic Middle Eastern flavours with a contemporary international twist, offering a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for both locals and visitors. The menu highlights a diverse range of traditional and modern dishes, crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients and unique house-made marinades and seasonings.

The restaurant has become a popular dining destination in the region, recognised for its warm hospitality, attentive service, and comfortable ambience. Whether for casual dining, social gatherings, or family celebrations, HVOTS PTY LTD continues to attract a loyal customer base by combining authentic culinary traditions with a modern dining experience.

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis.

Location: 20/26 Orchid Ave, Surfers Paradise QLD 4217, Australia

Salary Range : 75000 - 78000AUD

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare, cook, and present a wide range of dishes in line with the venue’s menu.
2. Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
3. Support menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal and fresh local ingredients.
4. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP).
5. Assist in monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimising wastage.
6. Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to support smooth operations during service.

Skills & Experience Required

1. Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen.
2. Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
3. Ability to prepare a variety of dishes with precision and attention to detail.
4. Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
