Job Description
Our client is a well established restaurant inspired by Chinese cuisine. The Company is looking for a experienced trade qualified cook and/or chef to prepare and cook quality food, and manage the kitchen in this great CBD location.
Requirements for Cook- AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training or at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications
- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma or at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications
You will need extensive knowledge and experience in
- Preparation, seasoning and cooking food to hygiene regulation
- Following recipes and operating kitchen equipment
- Exercising portion control
- Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation
