Chemical Operator

Responsible for performing chemical and heat treatment processes in accordance with operating procedures and regulations. Performs quality control testing and analysis to ensure coating or treatment meets engineering requirements. Equipment includes overhead hoists, rectifiers, eddy current meters, hardness test equipment, and high temperature ovens. Processes may generate high pressure, heat and or chemical reactions and require training in hazardous material handling and emergency procedures. PPE is required to be worn at all times. Responsible to assure the quality of the work they perform meets procedural.
