Chemist (Laboratory Technician) – Rome, Italy

As a member of the laboratory team in Rome, they will report directly to the local manager.

Main tasks :

– In compliance with the safety and general standards of quality of the laboratory, he/she will ensure the performance of tests and the verification of tests; – He/She will be responsible to check the conformity of the samples received and report any anomalies (non-compliance) to the Laboratory Manager; – Identify and record the samples. Assign parameters/tests to be performed according to the information received from the Laboratory Manager; – Analyze, handle and store samples in accordance with procedures agreed which vary depending on the type of sample and customer; – Follows calibration / verification / maintenance of the equipment giving evidence through the laboratory software and updates for each instrument; – Manages the reagent warehouse as required in quality procedures – He/ She will be responsible for implementing the requirements of the Quality Plan and the Integrated Management System as well as developing test procedures until validation of the method;
