Overview

Job Title: Chemist
Location: Mont-Royal, Quebec

Timings: 7 AM - 3 PM or 8 AM - 4 PM

Duration: 4 months (Looking to Convert to FTE)

Travel: Up to 20% (Montreal region to Chicago)

Responsibilities

• Equipment implementation (not method development or training).
• Current technologies: Mojani Fat, Mojani Moisture, Vacuum Oven.
• New technology: Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIR) to replace current methods.
• Troubleshooting: Intermediate to strong level required; collaboration with IT and analytical chemists.
• Work style: Collaborative (not independent project leadership).
• Team structure: Approx. 6 people (lab crew, supervisor, quality team, operations leads, technicians).
• Languages: Proficient in French and English (verbal and written).
• On-site work at Mount Royal facility (no remote work).
