Chemist

Marchem Automotive is seeking candidates to fill the role of a Chemist competent in all functions within the Chemical Department to join our expanding team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Performing physical and wet chemistry of raw materials as well as finished products using various analytical laboratory equipment

• Calibrating and maintaining laboratory instruments

• Assisting with the set-up of instrumentation

• Writing papers or reports and specifications for processes, facilities and products;

• Analysing test results to determine process or equipment operating efficiency or to diagnose malfunctions

• General laboratory housekeeping

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in the relevant field. Some experience desired but not essential as training will be provided.
