Chemistry Technician - Full Time

Job Summary
We are seeking a Chemistry Technician to support hazardous waste treatment operations by applying chemical testing, process control, and waste management expertise.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all site licences, regulatory obligations, and hazardous waste requirements.
• Conduct chemical tests to identify composition, reactivity, and treatment pathways for incoming waste streams (acids, alkalis, flammables, organics).
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures for waste handling and chemical treatment.
• Conduct verification checks on materials, containers, labelling, and segregation.
• Oversee hazardous liquid transfers and ensure strict adherence to SOPs.
• Assist with fabrication, installation, and modification of equipment as required.
