Enterprise Chief Architect – Shape Scalable, Secure Digital Platforms

Lead the enterprise architecture function for a major, multi-stream ICT environment—aligning technology strategy to business outcomes, steering design decisions, and ensuring solutions are secure, resilient, and fit‑for‑purpose across the organisation’s most important initiatives.

Location: Remote Contract Duration: 12 months + 12‑month extension option

Security Clearance Requirement: Baseline clearance

Closing Date: 10am Thursday, 05 February 2026

Essential Tasks

  • Lead and mature enterprise architecture strategy, governance, and decision‑making
  • Provide design assurance and set architecture standards to reduce risk and improve quality
  • Mentor senior technical specialists and build a strong architecture community of practice
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to guide large‑scale programs and manage technical risk

Key Criteria

  • Proven experience directing enterprise‑wide architecture and capability strategy (senior level)
  • Strong systems development management: planning, estimating, and delivering to outcomes
  • Deep understanding of modern systems/software lifecycle engineering and continuous improvement
  • Confident stakeholder management and communication across complex, multi‑team environments
