Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chief Engineer at IBIS Hotel, located in Coimbatore City Centre, TAB. The Chief Engineer will oversee all engineering and maintenance operations to ensure the property is in excellent condition. Responsibilities include managing the maintenance team, scheduling and executing preventative maintenance programs, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, and adhering to safety and regulatory protocols. The position requires the ability to manage budgets, interact with vendors, and ensure compliance with operational standards and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong technical expertise in Mechanical and Electrical systems maintenance, as well as HVAC systems
• Proficiency in Maintenance Management, Preventive Maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Excellent Project Management and Budget Management skills
• Team leadership and Communication skills to effectively manage a team and coordinate with other departments
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards
• Previous experience in facility management or hospitality engineering is an advantage
• Relevant technical qualifications or certification(s) in engineering or related fields
