Chief Executive Officer – Rural Youth

The Rural Youth Organisation of Tasmania is a membership‑based organisation for young people aged 15 to 30 years coming together to make friends, learn skills and work towards Growing Rural Tasmania. In 2025, Rural Youth celebrated 75 years of success in the lives of young Tasmanians.

With 11 rural youth groups around the State, Rural Youth provides its members with opportunities to travel interstate and overseas, enter state and national competitions including the Young Farmer of the Year, learn new skills and explore individual talents. A team of highly valued volunteers and employees also proudly deliver a number of high‑profile events throughout the year including Agfest and an annual ball.
