Position Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a critical leadership role in shaping and executing the organization’s financial strategy, ensuring liquidity, profitability, and long-term financial sustainability. The role involves close collaboration with the Board and senior leadership, with ownership of fundraising, capital markets, investor relations, banking, compliance, and strategic financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Fundraising & Capital Markets
Lead equity, debt, and hybrid fundraising initiatives including IPOs, rights issues, QIPs, and private placements.
Evaluate and recommend optimal capital structures to support growth while managing cost of capital.
Engage with investors, banks, and financial institutions to raise funds aligned with business objectives.
Manage share buybacks, ESOPs, and other capital market transactions in compliance with regulatory norms.
Track capital market conditions and advise the Board on fundraising timing and structure.
2. Banking & Treasury Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and financial institutions.
Oversee treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity management.
Ensure compliance with banking covenants and statutory reporting requirements.
3. Investor Relations & Corporate Governance
Lead investor relations with transparent and timely communication to shareholders, analysts, and regulators.
Prepare and present quarterly and annual financial results in line with regulatory disclosure norms.
Support management in investor meetings, analyst briefings, and post-listing communications.
4. Financial Reporting & Compliance
Ensure timely and accurate closure of quarterly and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with Ind-AS, Companies Act, SEBI (LODR), FEMA, GST, and Income Tax regulations.
Coordinate with auditors, advisors, and consultants to ensure smooth audits and financial integrity.
5. Strategic Financial Planning & Decision Support
Partner with the Board and leadership team on long-term business planning, capital budgeting, M&A, and diversification initiatives.
Conduct scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and risk assessments to support strategic decisions.
Advise on ROI improvement, capital allocation, and investment decisions.
6. Cost Optimization & Operational Efficiency
Identify and implement cost optimization initiatives across the organization.
Monitor key financial performance metrics and provide insights to improve margins and efficiency.
7. Internal Controls & Risk Management
Strengthen internal control frameworks, audit processes, and risk mitigation mechanisms.
Drive financial discipline, accountability, and governance across functions.
8. Accounting Systems & Technology
Implement and enhance ERP and accounting systems to meet compliance and analytics requirements.
Ensure robust financial reporting, reconciliation, and consolidation processes.
Leverage technology for automation and predictive financial analytics.
9. Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and collaboration.
Act as a strategic business partner to align financial strategy with organizational goals.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification: CA / ICWA / MBA (Finance).
Experience: 15+ years in senior finance leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a listed company environment.
Strong exposure to fundraising, capital markets, investor relations, and regulatory compliance.
Hands-on experience with IPOs, QIPs, rights issues, debt raising, share buybacks, and ESOPs.
Proven ability to manage large finance teams and work with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Skills & Knowledge

Strong understanding of capital markets, SEBI regulations, corporate governance, and investor relations.
