Job Description

Role Purpose:

The Head of HR will be a strategic partner to the Leadership team, leading the end-to-end transition and transformation of the HR function. The role will drive the shift from traditional HR to a digitally enabled, data-driven, and future-ready high-performance organization while supporting Kohinoor Group’s growth, governance, and cultural legacy.


Desired candidate profile:

  • Fulltime MBA from premier institutions including XLRI, TISS, IIM, Christ University, ISBR, Symbiosis, JBIMS (No distance learning)
  • 15-20 years experience in real estate, infrastructure, construction, hospitality or project-driven organizations.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale HR transformation and automation initiatives.
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability.
  • Change leadership, stakeholder influence, and governance expertise.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead HR transition and transformation aligned with business growth and professionalization.
  • Design and execute a group-wide HR automation strategy aligned with long-term business growth.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on people, culture, and organizational effectiveness matters.
  • Implement AI-driven HR solutions to enhance decision-making, efficiency, and employee experience.
  • Partner with leadership on organization design, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Design competitive compensation, incentives, and retention frameworks.
  • Digitize HR processes (HRMS, analytics, dashboards)
  • Act as a trusted confidant during scale-up, restructuring, or integration phases.
  • Strengthen HR policies, processes, and governance frameworks.
  • Talent Acquisition & Capability Building.
  • Institutionalize Kohinoor’s legacy-driven values while enabling modern, performance-oriented culture.
  • Drive engagement, accountability, and collaboration across sites and functions.
  • Design competitive compensation, incentives, and retention frameworks.
  • Proactively address workforce issues, grievances, and conflict resolution.
  • Act as a trusted confidant during scale-up, restructuring, or integration phases.
  • Lead digitization of HR through HRMS implementation, people analytics, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making.
