The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a key member of the hospital Executive team, reporting directly to the President and CEO, and is accountable for providing technology vision and leadership in the development and implementation of the affiliate-wide information technology (IT) program. He/She will direct, plan, organize and control all activities of the IT division and to ensure the effective, efficient and secure operation of all automated data processing systems of the hospital. The CIO will lead the health care network in planning and implementing enterprise information systems to support both the hospital, offsite and centralized clinical and business operations and achieve more effective and cost beneficial enterprise-wide IT operations.
