Product Development Engineer
About the Role:
The Product Development Engineer supports downstream product development activities within a production environment, focusing on design adaptations and engineering changes required to enable successful production line transfer and sustaining manufacturing. This role acts as the technical link between Global Product R&D and our industrialization team.
- SUPPORT PRODUCT DESIGN ACTIVITIES RELATING TO PRODUCTION LINE TRANSFER AND SUSTAINING PRODUCTS
- DEVELOP AND RELEASE PART DERIVATIVES AND DESIGN ALTERATIONS WITHIN THE APPROVED DESIGN ENVELOPE
This role collaborates with Design for Manufacturing/Design for Assembly (DFM/DFA) engineers to incorporate manufacturing feedback into product designs. Key responsibilities include tolerance analysis, stack-ups and interface definition for assemblies.
