Role Summary
The Chief Institutional Strategy & Program Development Officer leads the organization’s institutional engagement, public positioning, and program management functions. Reporting directly to the President & CEO, this role ensures that institutional affairs, communications, and program management are seamlessly integrated to achieve strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute institutional engagement strategies aligned with national and regional industrial plans in India.
- Build and manage relationships with government ministries, regulatory bodies, and regional authorities.
- Advise senior leadership on legislative and regulatory developments impacting the organization.
- Shape and manage the organization’s public positioning and corporate messaging.
- Oversee media relations, stakeholder platforms, and strategic communications plans.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of complex programs and market strategies.
- Conduct market analysis, assess commercial viability, and manage risk across priority sectors.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including ministries, industry groups, suppliers, and international partners.
- Identify and pursue public and private funding opportunities.
- Ensure alignment between institutional efforts and access to industrial finance mechanisms.
- Track and respond to regulatory changes affecting business operations.
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in institutional affairs, strategic communications, and program management.
- Existing connections with commercial/DOD/military Network
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Deep understanding of industrial strategy, public funding, and regulatory environments.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
