Chief Manager -IFRS & US GAAP

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant with expertise in IFRS 17 and US GAAP within the Insurance sector. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial reporting standards, and a proven track record of successfully implementing and managing IFRS 17 frameworks in a complex financial environment. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, has excellent problem-solving capabilities, and can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Roles & responsibilities:-

• Lead the implementation and compliance of IFRS 17 and US GAAP within the Financial Reporting team.
• Develop comprehensive financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS 17 and US GAAP standards.
• Provide technical guidance and training to the financial reporting team on IFRS 17 principles and US GAAP requirements.
• Analyze and interpret financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Work closely with actuarial, finance, and IT teams to ensure alignment of accounting policies and procedures.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management on key financial metrics, highlighting risks and recommending corrective actions.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to maintain compliance and identify potential impacts on financial reporting.
