Job Description
Provides for venue, material, and implementation of nursing rules and practices for the maintenance of adequate nursing care of patients. Directs full implementation of nursing care plans through the supervision and assistance of the Nurse Supervisors, Head Nurses, Staff Nurses, and all NSD personnel
Provides adequate manpower or personnel for nursing care of patients.
Maintains an environment conducive to providing quality care and improvement.
Engages in studies or audits related to improving patient care, follows up with appropriate staff for corrective action, and participates in QA subcommittees as appropriate.
Directs periodic inventories to determine adequacy of existing supplies and equipment and its working condition.
