A Print Manufacturer with a strong reputation for high-quality printing solutions and innovative design is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead their manufacturing operations to new heights.
Position Description
As the COO, you will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our print manufacturing operations. This role requires a dynamic, visionary leader with a proven track record in the print industry, extensive experience with unionized labour, a background in change management, and a strong commitment to excellence in leadership.
Responsibilities:
Leadership: Provide strong leadership for both front office and print production personnel, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvementOperational Excellence: Streamline and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective production, while maintaining high quality standardsUnionized Labour Management: Develop and maintain positive relations with union representatives, ensuring a harmonious working environment and successful labour negotiationsChange Management: Drive organizational change initiatives, fostering innovation and adapting to industry trendsStrategic Planning: Collaborate with management team to develop and execute the company’s strategic plan, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectivesQuality Control: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards to meet customer expectationsBudget and Cost Management: Monitor and control operational budgets, making data-driven decisions to improve cost-efficiency Experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the print industry, with a strong understanding of print manufacturing processes and technologiesProven experience in managing unionized labour and maintaining positive labour relations Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in change management and a track record of successfully implementing organizational changesExceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teamsStrong problem-solving abilities and analytical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBachelor’s degree in a related field Education
