Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Job Description
Function: Technology Leadership, Product Development, Electronics & Embedded Systems
Reports to: CEO / Founder
Department: Engineering & Product
Key Responsibilities
Define technology roadmap and oversee R&D.
Lead hardware, firmware, and embedded system design from concept to production.
Review schematics, PCB design, sensor integration, firmware architecture, and IoT connectivity.
Ensure DFM/DFT, BOM optimization, and manufacturing readiness.
Drive compliance (CE, FCC, BIS, ISO standards for MedTech if applicable).
Manage crossfunctional teams and external vendors/EMS partners.
Ensure product quality, reliability, and ontime release.
Handling Mass manufacturing with compliances
Required Skills
Strong expertise in electronics design, microcontrollers, sensors, PCB, C/C++ firmware, and wireless protocols.
Experience in embedded product life cycle (EVT/DVT/PVT).
