Role Summary:

The Chief Warden is responsible for the overall administration, discipline, safety, and welfare of students residing in the university hostels. The role ensures a safe, inclusive, and conducive residential environment that supports students’ academic and personal development, in compliance with university policies and statutory guidelines.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Hostel Administration & Operations

• Oversee the day-to-day functioning of all hostels (boys’ and girls’, if applicable).
• Ensure proper allocation of rooms, maintenance of hostel infrastructure, and adherence to occupancy norms.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, security, catering, and maintenance teams for smooth hostel operations.
• Approve and monitor hostel budgets, expenses, and resource utilization.
