Child And Adolescent Psychiatric Medical Director

Overview

Executive Recruiter, Non-Clinical Healthcare – LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a behavioral health provider to fill a Medical Director position in their FLAGSTAFF , AZ location. This position will oversee the clinical practice for all child and adolescent behavioral health services in the organization’s crisis, residential and outpatient levels of care. Compensation is based on experience and will range from $300-$550K. Relocation package available.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with the practice management team to oversee day-to-day clinical issues and assists in managing practitioners.
• Coordinates with the Psychiatric Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer to establish and oversee integrated care in the Crisis, Inpatient, and Expedited Care Units.
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective relationships with community stakeholders.
• Ensure end-to-end coordination of care is completed on every patient.
• Participate in committees, including but not limited to peer review, quality committee, pharmacy committee, safety and wellness committee.

Qualifications

• MD or DO and completion of an accredited residency program in psychiatry
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a physician; 3 years management experience preferred
• MD or DO, board certification in psychiatry with an active Arizona license (organization is willing to work with qualified candidates to obtain this) and DEA licensure in good standing
• CPR/First Aid
• CPI Certification
