Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chinese Chef in daily food preparation and cooking
- Wash, peel, chop, and marinate vegetables, meat, and other ingredients
- Prepare sauces, stocks, and condiments as per recipes
- Keep the kitchen organized, clean, and hygienic
- Assist in plating and presentation of dishes under Chefs guidance
- Follow kitchen safety and hygiene protocols strictly
- Help in inventory management and basic stock handling
Required Skills & Qualities:
- Passion for cooking, especially Chinese cuisine
- Basic knife skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately
- Team player with a positive attitude
